项目摘要

1.仮説実験授業戦略の確立…子どもの誤りの認識を科学概念に転換するための実践的な授業構成理論と方法を「仮説実験授業戦略」として取りまとめ、本授業戦略を採用した授業プランを教師自身が構成し、実践するための手がかりとなる英語版の教師用ガイドブックを開発した。2.現職教員プログラムの開発…開発した教師用ガイドブックを活用して実施する、本授業戦略にもとづく授業運営と授業設計のための初歩的な研修プログラムを構想した。3.本戦略の効果に関する総合的判断…2007、2008年にエジプトで実施した仮説実験授業戦略二次研修を受講した教師への追跡調査の結果によれば、本授業戦略導入の最大の成果は授業を実施する教師に現れた教育効果にあった。教師たちはより深い科学知識や概念、子どもの認識の特徴を学習したのみならず、実験・観察・自作教材の作成技能の向上によって、材料や器具の欠如による困難を克服することができた。また、教師は生徒の科学学習における知識・技能・態度の向上を報告しており、本授業戦略による科学の授業についての自信・意欲・関心を深めていた。4.今後の普及可能性…本授業戦略はエジプトの初等理科教育の改善において著しい効果があり、エジプトに適したものと言える。本授業戦略の特徴は、安価で簡素な材料を活用し、あらゆる学校レベル、しかも大人数クラスにおいても活用できる点にあり、講義式の伝統的な指導法を、実践的な概念指導法に転換させるうえで有効であるとともに、教師が固有の授業プランを活用してさらに活発に指導を行なうよう促した。本研究では本授業戦略の理論と方法を取りまとめた英語版教師用ガイドブックを作成したが、今後はアラビア語への翻訳を行ない、アラブ圏および発展途上国における広範な普及を目指す。
