本研究の目的はタウ粒子のτ-→Ksπ-υτ崩壊におけるCP対称性の破れを探索する事である。この研究のためには多量のタウ粒子のサンプルとCP対称性の破れを感度よく測定するための解析手法の工夫が重要である、KEK/Belle実験は人類未曾有のビーム強度を達成し、800万タウ事象対という従来より2桁多いタウ事象対の実験データの取得に成功した。このデータ量は多量であり、ここから信号事象を抜き出す作業のみで数カ月コンピュータを走らせることが必要である。解析は信号事象を目隠しする方法で進めている。平成21年度は、多量のデータを選別する手法の整備、角度分布を巧妙に用いた解析手法の確立、背景事象の評価、実験装置や他の理由により見かけのCP対称性を出ることがないかという詳細な検査等の準備に費やした。今年(平成22年)夏の国際会議に最初の結果を発表する予定で現在最後のつめを行っているところである。

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between CP symmetry and particle structure. This study focused on how to measure the sensitivity of multiple particles, and how to achieve the same results as before. KEK/Belle achieved the same results as before. The number of signal events is required for the operation. The method of analyzing signal events is advanced. In 2011, the preparation cost of the method of selecting and analyzing multiple data, the establishment of the analysis method, the evaluation of background events, and the preparation cost of the detailed investigation of the CP compatibility of the device and the other reasons were also included. The first results of this summer's international conference were announced, and now the final results are announced.
