项目摘要

当該課題「非ヨーロッパ地域のドイツ人社会とナチズム運動」に関連する先行研究と研究動向を踏まえる。最近のヨーロッパ史研究では、国民国家の歴史や「ヨーロッパ史優位」の歴史叙述から、非ヨーロッパ世界の「他者」およびその表象を視角とした研究成果が出されている。たとえば、トランスナショナルな視点を導入し、ドイツ植民地体制の比較研究、非ヨーロッパ人の表象、そして「世界の一体化」やグローバリゼーションの歴史である。このような研究成果を踏まえ、ビスマルク時代以降の植民地、ドイツ系移民や在外ドイツ人の存在、第一次世界大戦後と第二次世界大戦後の二度の引揚げについて、トランスナショナル視点を取り入れながら、分析した。(3)在外ドイツ人や植民地の存在が本国のドイツ社会にどのような変容をもたらしたのかという「反作用」について、国籍法や婚姻法、学校制度、引揚の問題から検討を加える。国立国会図書館憲政資料室(東京)、米国国立文書館(ワシントンD.C.)所蔵の「ドイツ押収文書」から、在外ドイツ人の戦犯護送、身元調査、資産管理と本国送還に関する指令文書を抜粋し、在外ドイツ人の「非ナチ化」政策の評価を検討した。(4)関係者への聞き取り調査を行い、証言や回想を収集し,職業や世代や社会的階層、地域による記憶のあり方の違いを比較分析した。これらの研究成果については、国際学会等の報告と論文発表を通じて、すみやかな公開につとめていく。
