前年度に取り組んだ、初期アントナン・アルトーにおける思考の不可能性と呼ばれる問題についてまとめ、それについての発表を行った。目的はアルトーの初期作品全体を貫くテーマ、問題意識はどのようなものであったかを明らかにすることであるが、当研究ではそれを「思考の不可能性」と呼ばれる彼の病をめぐる問題系だと捉え、それを中心に該当する各作品を分析した。具体的には『ジャック・リヴィエールとの往復書簡』において前提となる問題提起をしたと考え、そして『芸術と死』においてそれに対する回答を行ったということを明らかにした。このことは『芸術と死』という作品がこれまでほとんど研究者の研究対象となっていなかったということ、また、非常に解釈が困難なテクストであるということを鑑みても、意義のあることだと考えられる。また、それと並行して1920年代から30年代にかけての彼の演劇活動についても、上記のような問題意識を前提とした上で分析を行った。まず、20年代に彼が立ち上げたアルフレッド・ジャリ劇場について、その理論的側面を分析し、そこからテクストと舞台上に引き裂かれた独特の演劇空間を引き出した。このことについてはウェブ上の査読誌であるAgonに投稿する予定である。また、彼の主著である『演劇とその分身』をアルフレッド・ジャリ劇場でのテーマを理論的に引き継ぎ、展開させたものとして分析した。具体的には、その引き裂かれた演劇空間のあり方を示すものとして残酷の概念を構築していったということを見た。このことについては、5月に開催される日本フランス語フランス文学会春季全国大会にて発表予定である。
