项目摘要

本研究の目的は,コンテンツ産業の一つであるアニメーション産業を取り上げ,アニメーション産業の大都市集積という立地傾向について,その要因を明らかにすることにある.この目的を達成するために,本年は東京およびアメリカ・ロサンゼルスを中心としたフィールド調査をした.フィールド調査は6月にアメリカ,12月,1月に東京において実施した.調査の具体的な内容は,5月のアメリカ調査では,アニメーション産業労働者5人および専門家2人に対する聞き取り調査である.また12月の東京調査では,アニメーション産業労働者10人を対象とした日行動および就業特性を捉えるためのアンケート調査および,労働者1人を対象とした密着調査である.1月の調査では,12月の調査を補足する聞き取り調査をした.これらのフィールド調査を経て,本研究の目的であるコンテンツ産業の大都市集積の構造について,特に労働市場に注目して実証必要なデータを収集した.これらの成果を元に,国内外学会において2件の発表をした.また国内学会誌において1件の査読付論文,国際紀要において1件の査読付論文が受理された.加えて,研究の進行上必要となった,コンテンツ産業の周辺産業であるプラスチック模型産業についても並行してデータを収集した.その成果は国内外の学会にて,3件の発表をした.以上,研究実施計画に則り,大都市におけるアニメーション産業の集積の構造と,集積を導くメカニズムについて実証された.さらに,コンテンツ産業の周辺産業についてもその立地要因と存立基盤について,一定の知見が得られた.当初の計画以上の成果を得られたといってよい.
