In residential areas, snatching occurs less often in roads where the elderly feel insecure due to low traffic. On the contrary, snatching occurs much more often in roads where they feel secure due to high traffic. These roads are wide and far from each other and its sidewalks are in good condition. Furthermore, on these roads there are few empty lots such as car parking areas and park and about half of the buildings are shops. When the Fixation-distance is long, buildings have less than 3 floors and there are not advertising displays on the roads, caution against snatches is needed because on such roads snatching often occurs in spite of the elderly feeling secure.

在住宅区，由于交通流量少，老年人感到不安全的道路上，抢夺行为较少发生。相反，在交通繁忙而感到安全的道路上，抢夺行为发生的频率要高得多。这些道路宽阔且相距较远，人行道状况良好。此外，这些道路上几乎没有停车场和公园等空地，大约一半的建筑物是商店。当固定距离较远、建筑物层数小于3层且道路上无广告展示时，需要警惕抢夺行为，因为在这些道路上，尽管老年人感到安全，但抢夺行为时常发生。
