The Evidential Study on Two-branched System of Kindergarten and Day Nursery, and the Theory, Curriculum, Practice, and Training for Teachers of Early Childhood Education and Care in Japan after World War II

本研究旨在透过制度、管理、财务、理论、课程、实务、师资训练等方面的全面实证分析，厘清二战后日本幼儿教育与保育的实际状况。本研究展示了二战后日本教育体制改革的自身素质，幼儿园和日托两分制的建立过程，以及为达到这一目的而对幼儿园和日托教师进行的实践和培训，深入分析了二战前后关于将日托纳入幼儿园、让所有儿童都接受幼儿园教育、培训教师的各种争论。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual situation of early childhood education and care in Japan after World War II through comprehensive and evidential analyses of the system, administration, finance, theory, curriculum, practice, training for teachers and so on. This study shows the own quality of the reform of educational system in Japan after World War II, the establishing process of two-branched system of kindergarten and day nursery, and the practice and training for teachers of kindergarten and day nursery to achieve the purpose, thorough analyzing the various arguments about integrating day nursery into kindergarten, making all children get kindergarten education, training teachers before and after World War II.
