We developed functional nanoparticles, combined with thermo-sensitive polymers and magnetite. The functional nanoparticles emit heat when exposed to an AC magnetic field, causing them to release drugs. We have utilized these functional nanoparticles to administer methotrexate, an anti-cancer agent, making them ideal candidates for cancer thermo-chemotherapy.
