Use of Local Dietary Culture as the Teaching Materials for High Schools : Focusing on the Reality of Yadori Villages of Okinawa

冲绳曾是一个独立的王国，名为琉球王国。纵观其历史，它通过与中国和东南亚的贸易以及第二次世界大战后的美国统治而受到外国文化的影响。随着时间的推移，这些影响的混合和融合导致了冲绳独特的饮食文化的形成。因此，冲绳人的饮食变化和饮食文化与日本本土不同，因此需要在学校设置符合冲绳当地情况的课程、教材等。因此，在本研究中，笔者将冲绳的传统食材、烹饪方法以及饮食的变化按时期进行分类，并开发了有关当地饮食文化的基本资料。这是通过研究文献和进行与Yadori村庄有关的采访完成的。

Okinawa was once an independent kingdom called the Ryukyu Kingdom. Throughout its history, it has come under the influence of foreign cultures through trade with China and Southeast Asia during this period and through American rule following the Second World War. Over time, the mixture and fusion of these influences has led to the creation of a dietary culture that is unique to Okinawa. Thus, changes in people's diets in Okinawa and its dietary culture differ from those on mainland Japan, which is why there is a need for lessons and teaching and other materials at schools that are in line with local circumstances in Okinawa. Bearing this in mind, in this research, I sought to classify Okinawa's traditional food ingredients and methods of cookery, as well as changes in its cuisine, by period, and developed basic materials on local dietary culture. This was done by researching the literature and conducting interviews relating to Yadori Villages.
