Comparative Syntax of Movement and Noun Phrase Structure

本课题旨在通过对日语的分析，为左右周边的研究做出贡献。这种语言允许相对自由的语序变化，并有丰富的补语。因此，它提供了在大多数其他语言中没有观察到的证据。通过这个项目，我们成功地收集了在意大利语和西班牙语研究基础上提出的左/右边缘结构的新证据，并为该结构的普遍性提供了支持。在名词短语结构方面，由于日汉两种语言都有丰富的量词系统，而数量形态学的研究相对较少，因此我们对日汉两种语言的名词短语结构进行了详细的对比研究。结果表明，它们之间的主要差异来自头部参数。

This project aimed to contribute to the research on the left/right periphery based on the analysis of Japanese. The language allows relatively free variation in word order and is rich in complementizers. It therefore offers evidence that is not observed in most other languages. Through this project, we succeeded in collecting new pieces of evidence for the structure of the left/right periphery proposed on the basis of research on Italian and Spanish, and provided support for the universality of the structure. For the noun phrase structure, we conducted a detailed comparative study of Japanese and Chinese as the two languages have rich classifier systems and lack number morphology. It was demonstrated that the main differences between them follow from the head parameter.
