It is clear that Hieroglyphic Luwian has its own internal and regional linguistic features from the diachronic viewpoints of such elements as reflexive -si, interrogative sentences, scribal-errors, rhotacistic -t- and the initial-a-final in Carchemish to elucidate various linguistic variations of Hieroglyphic Luwian inscriptions. And therefore it is also noted that Hieroglyphic Luwian is important as one language of Luwic branch for IE-Anatolian comparative linguistics.

从反身-si、疑问句、抄写错误、转写-t-和卡赫米什语的首-尾等要素的历时性角度来阐释卢维象形文字铭文的各种语言变体，可以看出卢维象形文字有其自身的内部语言特征和区域语言特征。因此，象形文字卢维语作为卢维语分支的一种，在IE-安纳托利亚比较语言学中具有重要的地位。
