A Comparative Study of Kinai and Tokai in the Production of Japanese Ancient Glazed Pottery

平安京周边的两个地区和东海地区是平安时代日本的琉璃制品生产中心。由于这两个地区之间的相互比较不够，因此规划了这一研究项目。位于平安京周边地区的志野窑址被认为具有与东海地区不同的制造技术。但是，根据研究结果，我得出的结论是，东海地区的一部分技术被引入了我们研究小组在筱窑遗址发掘的大谷3号窑。通过对器物考古资料的详细考证，并对器物的颜色、化学成分等资料进行分析，认识到琉璃制作工匠的跨区域流动，影响了其他地区的生产。

The two districts on the periphery of the Heian-kyo capital and the Tokai region were centers of glazed-ware production in Japan during the Heian Period. Because mutual comparison between the two districts was insufficient, this research project was planned. The Shino kiln site which is located in the district on the periphery of the Heian-kyo capital was considered to have different manufacturing techniques from the Tokai area. But as a result of examination, I concluded that some parts of the technology from the Tokai area was introduced to the Otani 3 kiln which our research group excavated in the Shino kiln site. Furthermore, while rechecking the archaeological data of the products in detail, and analyzing the data about colors, chemical components, etc, it is realized that artisans of glazed-ware production move across the area and affect the production of other area.
