The aim of this research is to find new insights and enrich the results of previously -conducted economic experiments by using an eye-tracking machine. The eye-tracking machine can analyze subjects' information-processing behavior by checking their eye-movements. The experiments we have conducted so far are related to social preferences and strategic sophistication. The results of these experiments show that the classification by eye-tracking machine is consistent with that by other "usual" methods, e.g. the analysis of observed-choice data. Although the statistical analysis of eye-tracking data is complex, we have succeeded in finding a way to make use of it.

本研究的目的是通过使用眼动仪来发现新的见解并丰富以前进行的经济实验的结果。眼动追踪仪可以通过检查受试者的眼球运动来分析他们的信息处理行为。到目前为止，我们所做的实验都与社会偏好和策略复杂度有关。实验结果表明，眼动仪的分类结果与其他“常用”方法（如对重复选择数据的分析）的分类结果一致。虽然眼动追踪数据的统计分析很复杂，但我们已经成功地找到了一种利用它的方法。
