International comparative studies on socioeconomic inequalities in health and health risk factors suggested that socioeonomic inequalities in psychosocial factors and work-life balance were more important than health risk behaviours(cigarette smoking, undesireble eating habits, and physical inactivity) and obesity in the development of socioeconomic inequalities in health among Japanese employees. Research on the similarities and differences in the magnitude and patterns of socioeonomic inequalities in health and health risk factors among countries may contribute to specific and effective health policies for social determinants of health.

关于健康和健康风险因素的社会经济不平等的国际比较研究表明，社会经济因素和工作与工作生活平衡的社会经济不平等比健康风险行为（香烟吸烟，不可避免的饮食习惯和身体上的无效）和肥胖症在日本员工中的社会经济不平等发展方面更为重要。关于国家健康和健康危险因素的社会学不平等的大小和模式的相似性和差异的研究可能有助于对卫生的社会决定因素的特定和有效的健康政策。
