To establish the new anti--fibrotic therapy based on the regulation of hepatic stellate cell (HSC) by liver specific dendritic cell, I analyzed the effect of CD4, NK, NKT, Treg and CD8 cell on the activation of HSC. Both CD4 cell and NK cell activated HSC, however, NKT, Treg and CD8 cell did not influence on the activation of HSC. Induced regulatory DC did not induce the apoptosis of HSC. DCreg did not influence on the interaction between HSC and CD4, NK, NKT, Treg and CD8 cell. The administration of liver specific DCreg to the mouse model of liver fibrosis did not showed significant anti-inflammatory effect.
