How 19th century French writers depicted foreigners

19世纪世纪法国与不同文化的接触增加并加深。本课题的目的在于揭示这一时期的文学作品，尤其是小说和游记中对“他者”的描写。当我们满足于为世纪后半叶形成一个简单的视角时，当关于《他者》的理论传播时，我们可以从世纪前半叶得到许多结果，特别是从夏多布里昂、奈瓦尔、福楼拜和波托基等作家那里，因为他们的一些作品直接受到他们个人旅行经历的启发。

Contacts with different cultures increased and deepened in 19th century France. The purpose of this project is to show how 《others》 were described in literary works of this period, especially in the novels and in the accounts of journeys. Whereas we contented ourselves with forming a simple perspective for the second half of the century, when theories on 《others》 had spread, we could get many results from the first half of the century, especially from writers such as Chateaubriand, Nerval, Flaubert and Potocki, as some of their writings were directly inspired from their personal travelling experiences.
