The aim of this study was to compare clinically and bacteriologically the effects of full-mouth SRP in conjunction with systemically administrated azithromycin (FM-SRP)at one time(test-1) or divided into several times(test-2) with conventional SRP(control). All clinical parameters for the two tests groups improved in comparison with the control. However, there were no significant difference between two test groups. The detection of the bacteria was not recognized until 24 weeks for two test groups. However, the re-detection of the bacteria was recognized from beyond 6 mm pocket after 36 weeks. The detection of the bacteria was recognized continuously after treatment for the control group. This result suggested that the FM-SRP shows similar effect for either of one time or several times.

本研究的目的是比较临床和细菌学的影响，全口SRP联合全身给药阿奇霉素（FM-SRP）在一个时间（试验-1）或分几次（试验-2）与传统SRP（对照）。与对照组相比，两个试验组的所有临床参数均有所改善。然而，两个试验组之间没有显著差异。对于两个试验组，直到24周才发现细菌的检测。然而，在36周后，从超过6 mm的囊袋中识别出细菌的重新检测。对照组治疗后继续检测细菌。这一结果表明，无论是一次还是多次，FM-SRP都表现出类似的效果。
