The results of censorship of nursing publications from 1945 trough 1949 in Japan are thought to be housed in the Gordon W. Prange Collection at the University of Maryland. The purposes of this study were to investigate the circumstances of publishing concerning nursing, clarify the society's valuation to nursing in occupied Japan. The results were ad follows;1. When the nursing publications were issued, Nursing Affaires Divisions (NAD), Public health and Welfare (PH&W) assisted Japanese nurses.2. NAD and Japanese public health nurses made an effort to publish of the local nursing journals.3. Newspaper advertisements showed local nursing matters in Japan.
1945年至1949年日本对护理出版物的审查结果被认为保存在马里兰大学的戈登·W·普兰奇收藏库中。本研究旨在调查日本沦陷区护理出版情况，厘清日本社会对护理事业的评价。结果如下：1.护理刊物出版时，护理部(NAD)、公共卫生与福利部(PH&W)协助日本护士。NAD和日本公共卫生护士努力出版当地护理期刊。报纸广告显示了日本当地的护理事务。
