项目摘要

当研究課題は、中東地域に存在するシリア語文献の調査とシリア語が使用されてきた環境としての東方キリスト教会の調査研究を行うことであるが、最終年度平成22年度は、当初の「研究実施計画」に従って研究代表者川本は主にイタリアとイギリスのシリア語写本コレクション調査を行い、研究分担者春田は昨年やり残していたイランにおけるアラム語の調査を行った。川本は、2010年9月5日～26日イタリアを訪れ、ヨーロッパで最も古いシリア語コレクションをもつヴァチカン図書館とフィレンツェのメディティ家図書館(Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana)においてシリア語写本調査を行った。残念ながらヴァチカン図書館は修理中休館であったが、メディティ家図書館において、有名なアッセマニ作成のカタログによってバルヘブラエウスの著作を中心に多くの写本を実見し、15世紀に写されたいくつかの写本の存在を確認した。また、この間、ナポリ東洋大学(L' Universita degli studi di Napoli "L' Orientale")を訪問し、ローマ大のVita Silvio教授に紹介された東方キリスト教およびシリア語の専門家たちと研究交流することができた。また、2011年2月20日～26日(7日間)、大英図書館(British Library)とバーミンガム大学において当研究に関する文献調査を行った。バーミンガム大学のMinganaコレクションでは、2日をかけて多くのシリア語写本を実見した。一方、研究分担者春田は、前年度配算繰越分全額を使用して、イラン国立博物館所蔵アラム系文字史料調査と研究交流を目的として、2010年12月25日～2011年1月5日(12日間)イラン・イスラーム共和国テヘラン市イラン国立博物館を訪れ、同館碑文部門にて調査を行なうかたわら、同部門責任者アクバルザーデ博士他の研究者と研究交流した。同じく春田は、今年度配算分全額を使用して、2011年1月28日～30日滋賀県甲賀市のMIHO MUSEUMと京都市の総合地球環境学研究所を訪れ、MIHO MUSEUM所蔵アラム文字資料調査および総合地球環境学研究所にて文字資料分析法の調査研究を行った。
