项目摘要

平成22年度は国際理解学習の問題解決アプローチとして,前期に小学生の遠隔授業を核とした環境破壊教材を,後期に大学生の遠隔授業を核とした文化摩擦教材を開発した。小学校版遠隔会議では,小学校の教員免許の取得を目指す三重大生が北立誠小学校に事前指導に行き,6月に日本とオーストラリアの身近な地域の環境を守る活動をテーマとして遠隔会議をプロデュースした。オーストラリアのCoogee public schoolはパワーポイントや演劇などを活用し,日本の小学校はボードに文字とともに絵や写真などを工夫して表現するなど,お互いの小学生が身近な地域の環境を守るためのメッセージを伝えようとした。お互いの対策をとらえ,異文化コミュニケーション能力を高めることができた。大学生版遠隔会議では,高等学校の教員免許の取得を目指す三重大生が,世界の文化摩擦問題となっている「捕鯨問題」について,1月にミシガン大生と遠隔会議を行った。賛成と反対の立場からボードに文字と絵と写真などを工夫して表現し,意見発表と質疑応答を行うことで論点が明確になり,議論が深まった。例年,言語による意思疎通が問題であったが,プレゼンテーションを工夫することで異文化コミュニケーションが成立した。今年度は,21年度に実施した文化理解アプローチによる国際理解学習の教材について学会発表を行い,三重大学国際交流センター紀要にまとめている。3年間を通した研究成果として,遠隔会議を体験した大学生や小学生の,テーマに対する認識や思考力や異文化コミュニケーション能力の育成があげられる。また,教員養成段階の学生に,教育現場で遠隔会議を活用する意義をつかませることができた。この成果は,今後論文にまとめていきたい。
