Developing Teaching Materials, Curricula and Teacher Training Programs for Language Awareness and Multilingual Activities

为了探讨在日本的正规教育中实施多语言意识活动的可能性，通过对课程和教师培训的实际做法进行行动研究，制定和修改了教材和课程以及教师培训计划。结果表明，如果教师能够拥有各种电子（包括视频和声音）和印刷媒体的教学材料，并接受较长时间的培训和研究人员的帮助，他们就能够开展多语言活动，培养儿童的语言意识和能力。

In order to investigate the possibility of implementing of multilingual language awareness activities in the formal education in Japan, the teaching materials and curricula as well as teacher training programs were developed and modified through action research of the actual practices of lessons and the teacher training. As a result, it was clarified that the teachers were able to realize multilingual activities to cultivate children’s awareness and abilities concerning languages, if they could have diverse teaching materials of electronic (including video and sound) and print media, and relatively long period of training and aids from the researchers.
