We collected and organized the present situation of phonetic education of foreign languages in Japan by qualitatively and quantitatively analyzing the learning materials of English, German and French published in Japan and foreign countries. We issued a questionnaire to Japanese learners of the 3 languages. We surveyed the phonetic education which they have received so far and their feelings and reactions about the education, and analyzed the gaps between the actual conditions of the education and learners' feelings and reactions about it. We collected a corpus of actual speech of native speakers and Japanese learners of the 3 languages to prepare reading textbooks, and made the information of the corpus into a database.The results are published and reflected in the research papers, reference books for pronunciation and so on.

通过对国内外出版的英语、德语、法语学习材料进行定性和定量的分析，收集整理了日本外语语音教育的现状。我们向学习这三种语言的日语学习者发放了一份问卷。我们调查了他们目前接受的语音教育以及他们对语音教育的感受和反应，并分析了教育的实际情况与学习者对语音教育的感受和反应之间的差距。我们收集了三种语言的母语人士和日语学习者的实际语音语料库，编制了阅读教材，并将语料库中的信息输入数据库，结果发表在研究论文和发音参考书等中。
