Hemispheric independence and selective attention

本研究在假设大脑各半球具有独立的注意资源的基础上，探讨了视觉选择性的机制。这项研究的结果是双重的。首先，投射到高负荷半球的干扰项比投射到低负荷半球的干扰项更容易被忽略。第二，本研究发现，每个半球可能独立地调节视觉选择性取决于冲突频率。

The present study was designed to investigate the mechanisms of visual selectivity on the basis of the assumption that each hemisphere has an independent attentional resource. The findings in this study are twofold. Firstly, it is easier to ignore the distractor which is projected to high-loaded hemisphere compared with that in the low-loaded hemisphere. Second, the present study provided the findings that each hemisphere may independently modulate the visual selectivity depending on conflict frequency.
