Research on perception and production boundaries between fricative and affricate in native and non-native Japanese speakers

本研究考察了日语和韩语母语者对塞擦音和摩擦音的感知边界和产生边界的特征。结果表明：（1）感知边界和产出边界可以用摩擦音的“上升时间”和“稳定+衰减时间”两个变量来表征;（2）日语本族语者具有相同的感知边界和产出边界，而韩语本族语者则不同;（3）韩语本族语者的感知边界与日语本族语者非常相似，但其产出边界不同。

Characteristics of perception-and production-boundaries between affricate [ts] and fricative [s] were investigated in Japanese-and Korean native speakers. It revealed that 1) perception-and production-boundaries can be represented by two variables of "rise duration" and "steady+decay duration" of a fricative part, 2) Japanese native speakers have the same perception-and production-boundaries but Korean native speakers do not, and 3) perception boundary of Korean native speakers is very similar to that of Japanese native speakers, but their production-boundary is not.
