Functional analyses of mammalian round spermatid for fertilization

受精的目的是假设性别基因组在卵细胞质中融合。我们以人类和实验动物（小鼠、兔）为实验对象，检验了被认为极低的哺乳动物圆形精子的受精建立能力。精子功能是完成受精的重要事件，在精子进入后，发现卵母细胞激活能力和精子中心体功能下降。此外，作为补充圆形精子细胞激活能力下降的方法之一，我们开发了激素与小鼠圆形精子细胞的支持细胞共培养系统。

The goal of the fertilization assumes he fusion of the sex genome in the egg cytoplasm. We examined fertilization establishment ability of the round spermatid of the mammal that was assumed to be extremely low, using human and a laboratory animal (a mouse, rabbit). Sperm function to accomplish a major event of the fertilization after the sperm entry, oocyte activation ability and sperm centrosomal function were found to be decreased. Furthermore, as one of the methods to supplement ability for oocyte activation that decreased with round spermatid, we developed the co-culture system with hormone addition and Sertoli cells of the mouse round spermatid.
