Development of sleep promotion program for shift-workers with life-style education and its effect on sleepiness on night shift

对倒班工人进行的问卷调查显示，倒班工人的睡意与睡前饮酒、后睡午觉呈正相关，与睡前戒咖啡因、睡前洗澡、主观健康状况呈负相关。在此基础上，笔者编写了睡眠教育教材和睡眠日记。教育两个月后，一些个人努力促进更好睡眠的患病率增加，而失眠投诉和社交活动的患病率下降。

Questionnaire surveys among shiftworkers revealed that their sleepiness during night shift(SNS) is positively associated with drinking alcoholic beverages before day sleep and nap after day sleep, but inversely associated with abstaining from caffeine before day sleep, having a bath before day sleep, and subjective health status. Based on these results and literature review, a textbook and a sleep diary for sleep education were developed. Two months after the education, the prevalence of some personal efforts to facilitate better sleep increased, while that of insomnia complaints and SNS decreased.
