Nurse education support using an SSM-based action research approach- motivation for disaster nursing

这项研究旨在培养护士在紧急情况下能够做出积极贡献，并基于制定一个相互支持的过程，以激励这些专业人员参与灾难护理。为了实现这一目标，采用了基于软系统方法论的行动研究方法。研究参与者通过研讨会和实践表达了他们对灾难护理和相关变化的想法，并计划/实施了相关的小项目。结果，他们在灾难情况下对身边同事的意识得到了提高，使他们能够建立起支持相互支持的系统的关系。在2011年3月日本东部大地震和随之而来的海啸之后，研究参与者主动采取行动，向受灾地区提供支持和后勤援助。因此，这项研究成功地促进了护士在紧急情况下能够积极行动的发展。

This study aimed to develop nurses capable of making positive contributions in emergency situations, and was based on the formulation of a process of mutual support to motivate such professionals toward involvement in disaster nursing. To achieve this aim, an action research approach based on soft systems methodology (SSM) was used. Participants in the study expressed their thoughts on disaster nursing and related changes through workshops and practice, and planned/implemented related small projects. As a result, their awareness of fellow workers around them in disaster situations was heightened, enabling them to build relationships that would underpin a system of mutual support. In the aftermath of the March 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and the ensuing tsunami, the study participants acted on their own initiative, providing support and logistics assistance to devastated areas. Accordingly, the study was successful in contributing to the development of nurses capable of acting positively in emergency situations.
