In the present study, we interviewed 14 first-time fathers during their wives' pregnancy and 3-4 months after the birth of their child in order to elucidate the prediction during pregnancy of paternal roles following the birth of the child as well as the actual condition of paternal roles. Analysis of the responses revealed nine reasons for the ability or inability to actually fulfill paternal roles, and detailed nursing support methods to enable first-time fathers to realistically and concretely envision paternal roles during their wives'pregnancy were suggested.

在本研究中，我们访问了14位第一次当父亲的人，他们的妻子在怀孕期间和他们的孩子出生后3-4个月，以阐明怀孕期间对孩子出生后父亲角色的预测以及父亲角色的实际情况。通过对调查结果的分析，揭示了女性是否有能力实际履行父亲角色的九个原因，并提出了一些具体的护理支持方法，使第一次做父亲的人能够在妻子怀孕期间真实而具体地设想父亲的角色。
