平成22年度の研究計画において挙げられていた三つの課題に沿って、研究業績の概要を述べる。1.日本語の意味論的特性を他の言語との比較で考察するという課題に関して、研究代表者は、日本語の動詞句の意味論について、いくつかの研究を行い、その成果を論文および学会発表として発表した。これらの研究の特徴は、(1)出来事(events)という種類の存在者によって動詞句の意味論を与える、(2)日本語において高度に発達している接辞の体系的意味論を目指す、(3)日本語名詞の特性である数についての中立性を表現するために複数論理(plural logic)を採用する、といった点に求められる。2.研究分担者は、明治期以降の日本における西洋人文社会科学の移入が提起する理論的問題としての「翻訳可能性」についての原理的問題に取り組み、その成果を数篇の論文としてまとめた。そのうちの一篇が平成22年度内に発表されたが、残りも順次発表される予定である。言語と思考との関係についてこれまでなされてきた研究の多くが、空間的語彙のように比較的単純な概念を対象としてきたのに対して、研究分担者の研究は、「文化」や「culture」といった語によって代表される、より複雑な要素を含む概念を対象にすることによって、サピーア=ウォーフ仮説への単純な反論や、デイヴィドソン流の概念枠組み批判が必ずしも有効性をもたないことを論じている。研究分担者はまた、ダルマキルティや道元のような仏教思想に基づく言語相対主義の可能性についても論じた。3.東洋の哲学的伝統が明治期以降の西洋の学問の移入に果たした役割についての研究分担者の研究は、平成22年度内に論文や学会発表の形で発表されなかったが、近い将来に発表される予定である。

The research plan for the 22nd year of Heisei will be reviewed. 1. The author of this paper has published several papers on the theoretical problems of the migration of Western humanities and social sciences since the Meiji period and on the theoretical problems of the "possibility of inversion" and the results of the study. The first article was published in 22 years of Heisei, and the second article was published in order. Language and thinking are related to each other, and research is carried out on a variety of topics, such as spatial words, comparative concepts, research contributors, research partners, culture, language, representation, complex elements, concepts, objects, services, etc. The concept of "flow" must be criticized. The study participants discussed the possibility of language interaction in their thinking. 3. A philosophical tradition has been established since the Meiji period, and Western knowledge has been transferred to China. The results have been divided into two parts. The research of the research partners has been carried out in the past 22 years.
