三年間の研究の最終年度となる本年度は、(I)これまでで得られた国学の情念論の総まとめ、および(II)その近・現代日本への射程を探ることの二点を軸として研究が進められた。その中心的な成果は、論文「悲泣する人間-賀茂真淵の人間観-」(『倫理学年報』61集)にまとめられ、査読を経て公表された。本論文は国学四大人の一人・賀茂真淵の生涯と著作のうえで反復される死者への悲泣の情念の構造を明らかにした上で、その死者への悲泣を人間の基底的リアリティーとする思想が、人倫・国家・市場といった生者の共同体における効用を至上価値とする近世および近代の通念に対する根本的な反措定となっていることを明らかにしたものである。本論文は前半の思想史的な理解のみでなく、後半のアクチュアリティーの探究についても高い評価を受け、本年度の達成目標である上記の(I)・(II)の両方を達成する、本年度の中心的な業績であると位置づけることができる。また一般向けに日本思想史の最新の知見を提供する雑誌『季刊日本思想史』の『源氏物語』特集号に、「『源氏物語』享受の論理と倫理」を、巻頭論文として発表した。本雑誌は本年度中での出版には至らなかったが、平成24年6月発売を期して校正作業に入っており、すでに一般広告としても告知されている。本居宣長の「もののあはれ」がその具体的文拠を『源氏物語』にもつように、国学の情念論にとって『源氏物語』は大きな思想源泉である。本研究でも国学情念論解明のための予備部門としてその研究を予定し、実際に研究を進めていたが、最終年度になってその研究成果を広汎な読者をもつ雑誌に公表しえたことは、本研究の進展および一般へのその意義の周知という点で、大きな意義をもつものである。以上二点の論文を中心業績とする本年度の研究は、研究全体の総括と、一般へのその意義の提示という両面において、着実な成果を挙げたと判断できる。
