Local electronic structure and charge transport dynamics in organic films and interfaces by means of inner-shell excitation

有机薄膜及其界面的电子结构对发光二极管、场效应管、光伏电池等有机器件的性能起着至关重要的作用。这些器件的功能主要由几何薄膜/界面结构决定，这种结构随分子结构和样品制备的不同而变化。在这项工作中，我们成功地通过(I)几何薄膜/界面结构的控制和(Ii)基于软X射线能谱的局域电子结构分析相结合的方法来阐明有机薄膜和界面的几何结构和电子结构之间的关系。

The electronic structure of organic thin films and interfaces plays a crucial role in the performance of organic devices such as light-emitting diodes, field-effect transistors, and photovoltaic cells. The functionality of these devices is dominated by the geometric film/interface structure, which varies depending on the molecular structure and the sample preparation. In this work, we succeeded to clarify the correlation between the geometric and electronic structure of organic thin films and interfaces by means of the combination of (i) the control of geometric film/interface structure and (ii) local electronic structure analyses based on soft X-ray spectroscopies.
