We made a prototype mold that installed the direct current heating system that was able to locally heat and cool the cavity rapidly and tried shortening the injection molding cycle of PLA. Furthermore, we fabricated CNF reinforced PLA and discussed about the effect of carbon nanotube addition to PLA in the crystallization behavior and mechanical properties of CNF/PLA nanocomposites.
