项目摘要

・平成23年度までの研究をさらに推進し、日本における中世的世界観の形成過程の究明に務めた。特に、『将門記』、『陸奥話記』、『奥州後三年記』など、漢文で書かれた軍記物語に重点を置いて研究を進めた。これらの軍記を中心に、ロシア語訳を行なった。翻訳書はハイペリオン出版社から、『合戦と謀反の物語』というタイトル(和名)で平成24年9月に刊行された。・作り物語と軍記物語の接点として、女性が登場する場面に着目し、ジェンダーの観点から女性観の変化をたどり、中世的世界観の形成についての考察の一助とした。具体的には、『平治物語』、『平家物語』の諸本を主対象として、「女の身」という言葉を含む表現がどのような文脈で用いられているか検討した。その結果、『源氏物語』に代表される前代の作り物語と軍記物語、また軍記物語の諸本の中でも初期のものと後期のものとでは、女性の自己認識を含め女性観のあり方に変化が認められた。身分の高低を相対化して女性一般を「心憂きもの」「悲しきもの」とする見方が定着していく一方で、「女の身なれども」という言い方で明確な意思表示をする女性が描かれるようになっている。ただし、そこで表明されるのは自殺の意思であり、とりわけ川や海に「身」を投げる投身自殺を敢行した女性には「貞女」などの儒教的賛辞が与えられるというパターンが認められた。以上の研究成果を学会誌に発表した。・同じくジェンダーの視点から、『源氏物語』と『平治物語』『平家物語』を対象に「女の身」と「女の心」という表現の用法を調査した。『源氏物語』では全用例が男性登場人物によるものであるのに対し、軍記物語では、古態本においても流布本においても、女性登場人物の自己認識としてこれらの表現が用いられている例が多いことが明らかになった。この研究成果を国際学会で発表した。
