"Expatriate German-Studies": Its Institutionalization and Taboo.-"German Studies" Reconsidered from the Viewpoints of Minority Studies-

在民族主义盛行的背景下，居住在德国、奥地利和瑞士之外的德国人--“侨居德国人”--在政治上扮演着德意志民族“文化前哨”的角色。由于这些政治功能，所谓的“侨民德语研究”作为一个跨学科领域被大力制度化。然而，第二次世界大战结束后，它成了禁忌，它的学术成就从历史上被抹去了。本课题组搜集和发掘了大量有关这一学术领域，特别是其文学和语言学分支的资料和史料，并对其学术成果进行了重新审视。此外，我们还结合德国少数民族的政治和社会背景，考察了它的政治影响。

Against the backdrop of the flourishing nationalism, "the expatriate Germans", the Germans living out of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, took a political role as "a cultural outpost" of ethnic Germans. Because of these political functions, the so-called "Expatriate German-Studies" was energetically institutionalized as an interdisciplinary field. After the end of the World War II., however, it was made taboo, and its academic achievements were erased from history. Our research team collected and unearthed many materials and historical records about this academic field, especially its literary and linguistic branch, and reconsidered its academic achievements. In addition, we considered its political influence based on the political and social background of the ethnic German minorities.
