A method is proposed to suppress the sidelobes; it is based on the interference of two Bessel beams that have different wave vectors． The effectiveness of the method is confirmed theoretically as well as experimentally． The superposed Bessel beam has the sidelobe of 4% of the peak intensity, whereas the ordinary Bessel beam has the sidelobe of 16%．
