Hepatitis C virus (HCV) can induce variety of the extrahepatic manifestations, such as lymphoproliferative and autoimmune disorders in patients with chronic hepatitis C. These disorders are thought to be associated with the abnormal activation of B cells. HCV also infects and associates with B cells frequently in the patients, speculating that this interaction leads to abnormal activation of B cells. In this study, we analyzed the correlation between the B cell infection and/or association with HCV and abnormal activation of B cells. Furthermore, we investigated whether these abnormalities were associated with resistance to the interferon-based therapy.

丙型肝炎病毒(HCV)可诱发慢性丙型肝炎患者出现多种肝外表现，如淋巴细胞增殖和自身免疫性疾病。这些疾病被认为与B细胞的异常激活有关。 HCV还经常感染患者的B细胞并与其结合，推测这种相互作用导致B细胞的异常激活。在本研究中，我们分析了 B 细胞感染和/或 HCV 关联与 B 细胞异常激活之间的相关性。此外，我们研究了这些异常是否与对干扰素治疗的耐药性有关。
