Stereotactic body radiotherapy using volumetric modulated arc therapy in consideration of respiratory motion

容积调强弧形放射治疗（VMAT）是一种旋转调强放射治疗（IMRT）技术，能够采集锥形束计算机断层扫描（CBCT）的“治疗中”投影图像。治疗期间的CBCT有望评估肿瘤的实际位置和剂量分布。本研究的目的是建立一种新的立体定向体部放射治疗（SBRT）过程中的验证方法。在这项研究中，我们使用VMAT进行SBRT，考虑到呼吸运动，并成功地表明，肿瘤的运动“在治疗中”使用4D-CBCT。

Volumetric modulated arc therapy(VMAT) is a rotational intensity-modulated radiotherapy(IMRT) technique capable of acquiring "in treatment" projection images for cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT). CBCT during treatment is expected to evaluate the actual tumor position and dose distribution. The goal of our research is to establish a new method of verification during treatment in stereotactic body radiotherapy(SBRT). In this study, we carried out SBRT using VMAT in consideration of respiratory motion and have successfully shown that the movement of the tumor "in treatment" using 4D-CBCT.
