本研究旨在通过研究正畸力与骨密度、骨重塑和血管生成之间的关系,为正畸治疗的合理评价方法建立技术基础。建立了利用荧光探针监测小鼠皮下肿瘤血管生成的体内成像技术。我们开发了一种实验技术来监测正畸力施加时牙周组织的变化。骨质疏松小鼠模型实验提示骨密度和正畸力对牙周组织骨重塑和血管生成的影响。

The aim of this study is the building of technical bases for appropriate methods of evaluation for orthodontic treatments by means of the study of the relationships among orthodontic force, bone density, bone remodeling and angiogenesis. We established in vivo imaging technique for monitoring of angiogenesis in mouse subcutaneous tumor by using fluorescent probes. We developed experimental technique to monitor the change of periodontium when the orthodontic force was applied. The experiments using mouse model of osteoporosis suggested the implication of bone density and orthodontic force to bone remodeling and angiogenesis in periodontium.
