Enantio-selective coordination using molecular template and novel application for intra-series separation of lanthanides

提出了一种利用伪对映体选择性配位和分子模板分离镧系元素的新方法。新合成的配体PTA使配合物在特定镧系元素的边界上具有每一种伪手性构象。利用分子模板对稀土- pta络合物进行了对映选择性沉淀。此外，PTA的离子大小识别性能可以通过取代基的修饰来控制，并且利用两种具有不同识别性能的PTA衍生物可以选择性地分离特定的镧系元素。

A novel separation method for lanthanide utilizing pseudo-enantio selective coordination and molecular template was developed. The newly synthesized ligand PTA gives the complexes with each pseud-chiral conformation at the boundary of specific lanthanide. We found enantio-selective precipitation of lanthanide-PTA complex by utilization of molecular template. Furthermore, ion size recognition property of PTA can be controlled by modification of substituent, and specific lanthanide can be separated selectively utilizing two PTA derivatives which have different recognition properties.
