We have successfully prepared microcapsules composed of Layer by Layer thin films containing 2, 2, 6, 6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl(TEMPO). It was found that the microcapsules have disintegrated in part at + 0. 7 V vs. Ag/AgCl. This result suggests that the decomposition of the mi-crocapsules was caused by electric repulsion which originates from the positively charged oxidized TEMPO.
