项目摘要

本研究は, 子どもたちの連続的な読み書きの状態を行動レベルで捉えるために, デジタルペンによる行動プロセスの解析によって読み書き困難への支援策を検討する。読み書きに困難を抱える子どもは中学生になると第二外国語の習得に困難を抱えるため, 日本語だけでなく英語にも対応する評価方法および支援策を検討する。具体的には以下の3つの観点から研究を進めている。1)小学生および成人の書字行動の解析 2)情報渋滞を引き起こしている事例の収集 3)情報渋滞解消のための「情報の制限」方略の検討今年度は, 前年度行ったデジタルペンを用いた英国のディスレクシア大学生を対象とした書字行動調査で得られたデータについて, 同じく前年度開発した書字解析システムを用いて詳細な解析を行った。同じディスレクシアという診断を持つ個人であっても協調運動障害を合併していることがある。そこで, 今年度はディスレクシアのある大学生とディスレクシアおよびディスプラクシア(Dyspraxia, 協調運動障害のこと。Developmental Coordination Disorderとも言われる)両方の困難さをもつ大学生について, 詳細な時間分析を行い, 運動時間と停留時間の分離および, 停留時間の中でも単語内停留時間と単語間停留時間を分離した。その結果, ディスプラクシアの学生は, ディスレクシア単体の学生と比べて運動時間の割合がより長かった。また単語内停留時間と単語間停留時間の割合については, ディスレクシア単体の学生は単語間停留時間の割合が他の時間と比べて多いという傾向が見られ, 協調運動の困難さがデジタルペンで計測した時間データに反映されている可能性が示された。デジタルペンの通常学級での書字行動評価への使用可能性について, 2014年9月にAAATE (Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe)で発表した。また, 11月にはIDA (International Dyslexia Association Conference)のポスター発表において, ディスレクシアの大学生の書字解析研究について報告し, 3月にBritish Dyslexia Association International Conferenceの口頭発表においてより詳細な分析結果を報告した。
