Evidence of usefulness of foot or hand bath in combination with aroma oil for prevention of thrombosis

在本研究中，以评估足浴结合芳香油预防血栓形成的效果，测定了足浴过程中和足浴后内皮细胞产生的抗纤溶因子和抗凝因子的血浆浓度。结果表明：40℃热水浴足，或先吸收6种精油后再用37℃、40 ℃或43℃热水浴足，均具有预防血栓形成的作用。

In the present study, to evaluate the effect of foot bath in combination with aroma oil for prevention of thrombosis, plasma concentrations of anti-fibrinolytic and anticoagulant factors which are produced by endothelial cells were measured during and after foot bath. Our results indicated that both foot bath using 40℃ water, and absorption of a mixture of six aroma oils from hands followed by foot bath using 37℃、40℃ or 43℃ water had a preventive effect against thrombosis.
