Saiko Ema is the most well-known of the women who wrotekanshi poetry and painted in sumi-e at the end of the Edo period. Traditionally, sincethe Heian period, kanshi poetry was mostly written by men. In spite of that custom,Saiko Ema dedicated herself to expressing her inner world in kanshi poetrythroughout her life. How did she see the world? Why did she choose to express herselfin literati painting and poetry?Common evaluations of her work often present her only as an unusual and talentedwoman, but this study will examine in depth the individuality of her artisticexpression of her inner world.

在江户时代末期，斋子江麻是最著名的写诗和画诗的女性。传统上，自平安时代以来，坎诗大多是由男性创作的。尽管有这样的习俗，但江麻斋子终其一生都致力于用感诗来表达自己的内心世界。她是怎么看世界的？她为什么选择以文人画和诗歌来表现自己？对她作品的一般评价往往只把她描述为一个与众不同的天才女性，但本研究将深入探讨她内心世界艺术表达的个性。
