Social Capital-Conscious SNS for a Learning Habit Development

We have developed a prototype SNS for a learning habit development. This SNS can explicitly handle a strong ties connection (parent and child, teacher and student) that is not targeted with previous SNS, and then can supply users with anenvironment for sending an encouraging message each other. For example, from an evaluation experiment, it was suggested that it was desirable that the relations of the users that sent messages constituted in a small group instead of a pairs. In addition, we have developed collaterally peripheral technologies, such as a device for gathering a learning activity history, that are necessary for supporting a habit development.
