Study on the effectiveness of intervention focusing on interpersonal relationship to autism spectrum child and caregiver

本研究的目的首先是开发一个测量日本人广泛性自闭症表型(BAP)的量表(BAPQ-J)。对179名自闭症谱系障碍或典型发育障碍儿童的父母进行了问卷调查，结果证实了该问卷的信度和效度。其次，我们考察了自闭症特征/BAP与父母和孩子的社会认可度之间的关系。由于与TD儿童相比，高功能ASD儿童在面部表情识别方面存在障碍，这种倾向在ASD儿童的父母中也有部分表现，特别是在BAP分量表上得分较高的；僵硬。

The purpose of this study was first to develop a scale that measures Broad Autism Phenotype (BAP) in Japanese (BAPQ-J). One hundred seventy nine parents of children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD) or typical development (TD) completed BAPQ-J and the results confirmed its reliability and validity. Secondly, we examined the relationship between autistic traits/BAP and social recognition in parents and children. As high function ASD children showed impairment in recognizing facial expression compared to TD children, part of this tendency was also seen in parents with ASD child especially who scored high on BAP subscale; rigidness.
