The purpose of this research is to show the new model of Japanese agricultural co-operative (agri.coop) that will make a significant contribution for constructing a local society in which environment and economy is able to coexist sustainably. We have done following surveys. (1) Sending out questionnaires to all agri.co-ops. (2) Using WEB, conducting the survey of stuff's opinions. (3) Investigating large merged, small unmerged agri.co-ops, etc. (4) Investigating the Mondragon Co-operative Corporation in Spain. Based on the result, we show the network type agri.co-op model. And we discuss the importance of this type and propose reorganizing the present agri.co-ops as multipurpose agri.co-op to this type. This model consists of two kinds of agri.co-op. One is "community co-op" base on a community,and another is "special purpose co-op" engaging in business. This type of agri.co-op has headquarters and two kinds of agri.co-ops are connected each other through network.

本研究的目的是展示日本农业合作社（agri.coop）的新模式，为构建环境与经济可持续共存的地方社会做出重要贡献。我们做了以下调查。(1)向所有农业合作社发出调查问卷。(2)利用WEB进行员工意见调查。(3)调查大型合并、小型未合并的农业合作社等。（4）调查西班牙蒙德拉贡合作社。在此基础上，我们提出了网络型农业合作社模型。并对这一类型的重要性进行了论述，提出了将现有的农业合作社改组为多功能农业合作社的建议。该模式包括两种类型的农业合作社，一种是以社区为依托的“社区合作社”，另一种是从事经营的“专业合作社”。这种合作社有总部，两种合作社通过网络联系在一起。
