We performed the prospective study to evaluate the verification of the "Guidelines for the management of pulmonary nodules detected by low-dose CT" proposed by the Japanese Society of CT Screening.The pulmonary nodules with 5mm or more in diameter on initial chest CT were managed based on these guidelines. Because there were no cases of delay in the diagnosis and treatment for the nodules including the operated nodules with increased in size, the guidelines seemed to be appropriate. In the near future it will be necessary to collect more cases and follow up them for longer period of time.

我们进行了前瞻性研究，以评估日本CT筛查学会提出的“低剂量CT检出肺结节的管理指南”的验证，根据这些指南对初次胸部CT检查直径≥ 5mm的肺结节进行管理。由于没有延误诊断和治疗结节的病例，包括手术后结节增大的病例，因此指南似乎是适当的。在不久的将来，有必要收集更多的病例，并进行更长时间的跟踪。
