Cells bearing with EGFR mutation was sensitive to X-ray and showed apoptosis, which increased by gefitinib. The increased motility after X-ray irradiation was suppressed by gefitinib. This phenomenon was suggested to be related with cell kill and the EGFR signal transduction. These results were not recognized in the cells bearing no EGFR mutation.
