The purpose of this research is to identify design models having the optimum scale, individual distances, and other attributes of spaces that will accommodate the coexistence of robots and humans, and also to identify the optimum characteristics of robots that coexist with people. In the course of this research: (1) A series of experiments on adults, elderly people, foreigners, and children (including infants) shall be conducted to determine how people relate to robots in terms of distance, size, speed, and human conditions, and identify the best technologies for designing living spaces for people to live with robots. (2) Two living space model:"Smart Agora" and "Smart Living" specifically designed for people to reside together with robots will be designed and evaluated in terms of usability.

本研究的目的是确定具有最佳规模、个体距离和其他空间属性的设计模型，以适应机器人和人类的共存，并确定与人类共存的机器人的最佳特征。在这项研究过程中：（1）将对成人、老年人、外国人和儿童（包括婴儿）进行一系列实验，以确定人们如何在距离、体型、速度和人体状况等方面与机器人建立联系，并确定设计人类与机器人一起生活的居住空间的最佳技术。 （2）针对人与机器人共同居住的“智慧集市”和“智慧生活”两种居住空间模型进行可用性设计和评估。
