项目摘要
This fiscal year is the final year of the DCl program. The main objective was to disseminate the results of the ongoing studies through publishing in academic journals and presenting at international conferences.Two studies which investigated the object substitution effect were performed. The results of the study on object numerosity perception were presented in poster form at the Vision Scienee Society 13th Annual Meeting at Naples, Florida, USA in May 2013, and the paper was published in the Journalof Vision in July 2013. The study on the flash-lag effect was presented in the form of oral presentation at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society held in July 2013 at Berlin, Germany. The paper of this study was first published in the proceedings of this conference, and was then published in an expanded form in the journal Vision Research in November 2013. Furthermore, a study on mislocalization of moving objects in 3-D space was performed. The results were presented in poster form at the 9th Asia-Pacific Conference on Vision held in July 2013 at Suzhou, China.The studies performed during the three years of the DCl program were integrated into a thesis, which was submitted to the investigator's host institution for obtaining the doctoral degree.
